Easily Programmable Turning Centre

The Weiler DZ 26 Duplex CNC turning centre is designed for chuck, bar, shaft, longitudinal, complete and back end processing. It uses the Siemens 840D state of the art control and digital drives. The continual processing of profiles without cutting-free marks can be carried out thanks to the "look ahead"speed control. There is also an autoturn option which helps to streamline workpiece programming. Furthermore, it offers longitudinal turning capacity with synchronous lathe barrel and a fast workpiece transfer from spindle 1 to spindle 2 through simultaneous movement of both spindles. Although the unit has only one control, it can be used as two self-contained machines for the simultaneous processing of different workpieces. There are full C-axis drives on both working spindles as well as 24 tools with all stations driven.
