A medium-duty, upper counter lathe machine, Model 215, is available from Macpower Industries, Rajkot. This lathe has bed made of 25-grade cast iron hardened up to 180 BHN hardness and is strictly inspected with micro-level hardness tester for straight edge. Boring of the headstock is done on WMW boring machine fitted with induction hardened and ground spindle made of alloy steel. Apron is totally enclosed in oil bath system with lever type arrangement for automatic feeds. Tailstock is hardened and ground and is in hexagonal shape. Spindle is made of alloy steel with external and internal grinding features.
