Salient features: true flat bed design; single piece castings weighing between 4000 to 6000 kg, depending on the size of the machine; all machining done on high accuracy CNC machines; heavy-duty roller guideways for taking heavy depth of cut; heavily ribbed construction; FEM design; optimised design with wall thickness to match heavy cutting loads; thermal stability for the castings; natural gradients in castings; and all castings are stress relieved both prior and after rough machining.
