CNC Automatic Lathe Ideal For Straight Forward, Od & Id Turning & Back Working

The NT17S is a compact, low cost three-axis CNC Swissturn automatic lathe for ID and OD bar work where no pick off spindle is required. A total of nine tools can be mounted: six for OD machining and three for end working. The machine features a balanced 8,000 RPM hollow core motor type spindle for less vibration, fewer moving parts and quicker response in speed change. Nonrotating guide bushing housing is mounted directly to the machine bed for greater rigidity and higher part accuracy. The NT17S can handle work up to 11/16" capacity. Headstock stroke is 4.72"; spindle speed range: 200-8000 RPM; and horse-power is 5.0. Machine dimensions are 50" x 42". The Model NT11S is also available for work up to 7/16" and with 12,000 RPM capacity.
