All Geared Head Lathe

Turbo LX-175, an all geared lathe machine is a product from a well-known company with a good reputation of over two decades – Macpower Industries, Rajkot. The machine is designed as per IS-1971-1993 and is low cost to be affordable to educational institutes, even though the company has maintained the quality and rigidity befitting its standard and reputation. The machine comes with a double screw Norton gearbox with separate thread and feed shaft, with double screw apron. The bed is made from 25 grade cast iron and hardened up to 400 BHN. All the gears in the headstock are made from EN-8. The spindle is made from alloy steel and hardened and ground with external and internal grinding. The machine has 8 speeds ranging from 45 to 900 RPM.
