Universal Machine Tools Corporation offers All Geared Head Lathe Machines, Turner LX 215. It is manufactured with good quality casting. Its bed is made of high grade casting. Its head stock uses taper roller bearings. Its spindle is made from EN-8 alloy steel with grinding and hardening. Its gears are made from EN-8 and EN-24 steel process of hardening and profile grinding. Quick change Norton gearbox is provided as time saver equipment, thus feed and thread gears could be changed rapidly. Its saddle has surface and compound screws made from EN-8 steel. Millimeter dials are fitted to facilitate machining to very close limits. Its apron is a four walled close type with oil sump and quality gears. Bearings and bronze metal bushes are fitted for smooth operation. Its tailstock spindle is made from EN-8 steel. It has height of centre 205 mm, admit between centre 1000 mm, spindle bore 50 mm, and speed range 60/ 1100 RPM.
