The Mazak QT-6G is a compact, high speed, high accuracy CNC Turning Centre suited for accurate processing of small, precision parts typically found in automotives, computers, electrical/electronics equipment, and precision bearings. Its gang type tooling enables fast set-ups and cycle times. Its remarkable features include an integral spindle/ motor (7,000 RPM) and precision linear guides to maintain high levels of repetitive accuracy and consistency. The QT-6T is the latest addition to the QT-6 family. It is equipped with a high speed, high accuracy, non-lift indexing octagonal drum turret. It boasts of a very high speed rapid traverse rate of 30 m/min for a compact CNC turning centre of this class. The machine has many features similar to that of the QT-6G for achieving increased productivity and quality. In both 6G and 6T, an optional tool eye sensor is available to facilitate tool position measurement quickly.
