Suhner is a Swiss company with three divisions: Abrasive Power Tools division (APT); Low Cost Automation Division (LCA); and Rotating Power transmission Division (RPT). Suhner abrasive power tools division specializes in surface finishing solutions in stainless steel, stone, aviation and die mould segments. To offer these solutions, the company uses a demo concept ? demo of finishes at customer premises with both abrasives and power tools; the Suhner range of products covers abrasives, single-phase electric powered tools, pneumatic tools, machines using flexible shafts, a range of accessories and attachments to suit these. The target segments for the company are stainless steel, die and mould, stone and aviation segments. The major differentiating factor between Suhner and others in similar business is the knowledge the parent company has accumulated over 90 years and the willingness to share this knowledge with customers through a consciously developed business model.
