Surface Grinding Machines

Atul Machine Tools offers a range of surface grinding machines. The machine is built of heavy-duty high grade cast iron. The base is built of hand scraped alloy cast to achieve fine tolerance and accuracy. Reciprocation table provides V and flat (guide) ways lining with Turcite-B for easy movement. The wheel head spindle hardened and ground, runs with precision angular-contact bearings with imported grease to have long trouble free service and driven by flange mounted motor through flexible couplings. The microfeed system comprises wheel head-slide movement right side in the base. Wheel head feed least count is 0.01 mm and microfeed least count is 0.002 mm. Specifications: Models – Aarti 1/Aarti 2; working surface of the table – 225 x 450 mm/300 x 600 mm; maximum height from table to grinding wheel – 275; vertical feed least count – 0.01 mm; microfeed least count – 0.002 mm; crossfeed least count – 0.05 mm; spindle speed – 2800 RPM; size of grinding wheel (dia x width x bore) – 200 x 13 x 31.75 mm; magnetic chuck (recommended) – 200 x 450 mm/250 x 600 mm; and electric motor – 0.75 kW/1 HP, 3-phase/2800 RPM/1.5 kW/2 HP, 3-phase/2800 RPM. Standard accessories: balancing stand and mandrel, diamond dresser with holder, lubrication pump, toolkit, one-grinding wheel with flange and motor starter. Optional accessories: permanent magnetic chuck, coolant equipment, machine lamp (230 V AC), and wheel flange unit.
