Internal Grinding Spindles & Grinding Heads

Mahnot Grindage Industries, pioneer in designing, developing and manufacturing high speed internal grinding spindles and grinding heads meeting international standards, has developed about 700 types of spindles to suit the customer requirements. Mahnot spindles are a combination of high speed spindle technology + grinding technology: designed up to dia 200 mm; length up to 1250 mm; speed up to 80,00 RPM or more; and oil-mist or grease packed. These are suitable for grinding: internal, external, thread, profile, surface and SPMs. The grinding heads (horizontal and vertical) are available in capacity: power = up to 10 HP; depth = up to 1000 mm; grinding wheel dia = up to 400 mm (for continuous work load). Horizontal grinding heads are available for external grinding, internal grinding, groove grinding, also for heavy-duty lathes and other special purpose machines, most suitable for heavy repair workshops. Vertical grinding heads are available for grinding operations and can also be suitably fitted on vertical turret lathe, vertical boring machines, milling machines, plano-miller and other special purpose machines. These two types of grinding heads can transform any machine to grinding machine and are of much use in heavy-duty workshop and repair workshops. The company arranges lectures on: (a) Description of spindles; (b.) Selection of spindles; (c.) Operation of spindles; and (d) Maintenance of spindles. It also carries servicing of spindles by (a) Replacing bearings; (b) Calibrating each part; (c) Preloading correctly; (d) Balancing dynamically; and then (e) Testing it rigorously.
