Grinding Machines

Modern Precision Tools offers Grinding Machines. It is manufactured as per the international standards. It has hydrodynamic spindle assembly housed in a closely grained cast iron work head body. Its spindle is made of alloy steel thoroughly hardened, ground and stabilised to finest accuracy (roundness accuracy is 0.0005 mm). Work head has facility of both live and dead centres grinding applications. The wheel head like work head is having CI body and has hydrodynamic spindle assembly for rigidity, accuracy and longer life. In-feed system of the machine has preloaded precision linear guide way bearings for stick-slip free motion for higher repetitive accuracies. Incremental feeds as law as 0.001 mm are possible on such system. Tailstock has sleeve moving on preloaded brass ball bearings has an adjustable spring load pressure to suit varying requirement of day-to-day grinding. It contain heavy duty precision internal grinding spindle diameter 60 x 250/80 x 250 mm. High frequency spindles with oil mixed lubrication and external cooling are offered as options. Models 200 and 260, auto/ semi auto models are available.
