Grinding Machine, Universal Cylindrical Type

Fenwick and Ravi offers FAR NG-130 Series universal cylindrical grinding machines. These are new generation grinding machines manufactured in Bangalore. The machines have the following broad features: very rigid with single piece closed box section casting; the work head wheel head spindles are mounted on imported bearings ensuring very high accuracy and surface finish on the job; live spindle accuracy of less than 1 micron and surface finish of 0.2 micron is easily achievable; and, the crossfeed movement is on anti-friction bearing allowing very fine infeed movement. The machine is also available with auto cycle feature for production jobs. Single lever control ensures ease of production as all the elements required for grinding are operated using one single lever. FAR-NG machines can be supplied with profile dressing attachment and with angular wheel head for plunge grinding. These features make the machines very effective both for production grinding as well as tool room application.
