Grinders, Pedestal Type

Elmaco heavy duty double ended pedestal grinders are suitable for use in forging industries, foundries and heavy duty grinding jobs. The speed of the grinding at the rated load is 2,800 RPM for 1 HP model and 1,420 RPM for 2 HP and 3 HP models. All the machines are suitable for operation on 400/440 V, 3-phase, 50-Hz supply. All machines are provided with coolant pump, coolant tank, coolant tray and fittings, eye shields, on-off rotary switch and DOL starter. Each machine is also provided with one coarse and one medium aluminium oxide grinding wheel. Electrical windings are specially insulated and impregnated with high grade insulating varnish to withstand moist and tropical climates. The range of production is from 0.75 kW to 2.25 kW. Machines can also be supplied without coolant system. Special machines suitable for different voltage supply or frequency are also manufactured.
