Generating & Profile Gear Grinding Machine

The Liebherr CNC gear grinding machine LCS 282 is engineered for the grinding of gears up to a diameter of 280 mm. CBN-plated grinding worms or, as an alternative, grinding wheels are used. The tools can be replated. The machine can be used for generating grinding as well as for profile grinding. The generating grinding with CBN-plated grinding worms is most suitable for medium and large batch sizes; profile grinding with CBN-plated grinding wheels is recommended for the economical grinding of small batch sizes. The manufacturer's automation systems are also available for this model.
