Gleason Works (India) Pvt Ltd offers a Gear Grinding Machine, Model Gleason P90G, now available with dressing option for profile grinding. With the addition of the new dressing unit for profile grinding, Gleason’s P 90 G is now more than ever the most versatile and productive machine in its class. It is capable of producing spur and helical gears and pinions to module 3, and single and multi-thread worms to module 5, with workpiece diameters up to 100 mm. In addition to profile grinding, the P 90 G also provides users with the capability to perform highly productive threaded wheel grinding with non-dressable CBN wheels, and indexing generation grinding with non-dressable CBN wheels for prototype and low volume applications, thus meeting any user’s requirement for prototype, small-scale, or high-volume production. This new dressing unit for profile grinding, combined with the machine’s horizontal workpiece axis, makes the P 90 G particularly well-suited for shaft-type gear production, and the high-quality requirements of aerospace, automotive and precision job shops applications. The P90G provides: capability to perform highly productive threaded wheel grinding using plated CBN tools; produce prototype, small-scale, or high-volume production; shaft-type gear production, and the high-quality requirements of aerospace, automotive and precision job shops applications for shafts up to 375 mm and can be extended to max 675 mm depending on where the sleeve is mounted; and highest flexibility with three different grinding methods soft hobbing and skive hobbing ??on one machine?.?
