Conventional/Cnc Centreless Grinders

Batliboi Ltd offers time tested, heavy duty, rigidly built, conventional and state-of-the-art CNC centreless grinders manufactured by Solitaire Machine Tools Ltd of Vadodara. The standard machines have wheel width capacity of 8"and 10"the latter having twin grip for the rear wheel. Components from diameter 1.6 mm to 95 mm can be ground without any modification. The main motor power can be 15 HP, 25 HP or more depending on application. The CNC version can have amongst controlled axes servo-infeed, regulating wheel-speed, two-axes of the dresser, etc, that permit dressing of a form without a cam/template. This results in tremendous flexibility of operation. Elimination of gearbox, long mechanical linkages like chain sprockets, belts and pulleys and induction motors also reduce generation of vibration resulting in better geometrical accuracies and finish, not to mention ease of maintenance. It is possible to pro-gram different surface-speeds and feed-rates for roughing, semi-finish and finishing operations in the same cycle, thus eliminating the need for repeated machine setting. Moreover, speeds and feed rates can be steplessly changed even during operation. Dedicated user-friendly software is menu-driven and requires hardly any operator training. It is possible to quickly retrieve any programme from up to 150 that can be stored in the memory. Optional features include ball-screw for infeed, automatic/semi-automatic loading and unloading of work-pieces, automatic dynamic balancing of grinding wheel and the like.
