Batliboi Machine Tool Group, SPM Division offers Quickmill’s newest addition to its low cost drilling line up. The new Quickdrill B series moving table bridge type drilling machine were designed in cooperation with the parent company’s engineering group at their SPM Division in Bangalore, India. The new machines will be produced for Quickmill by Batliboi Machine Tool Group, SPM Division for the world market and are manufactured for Quickmill at this offshore facility. The Quickdrill Bridge product line is offered in 5 new size models (1.2m-1.2m, 1.6m-1.6m, 1.8m-1.8m, 2.5m-2.5m and 3.0m-3.0m) with a large 26 kW (35 HP) spindle and a 500 mm Z-axis stroke with a heavy cast iron frame design. Basic features: control – Fanuc 0i-MD; spindle – 35 HP (26 kW) 3,000 rpm ram spindle; coolant – high pressure, through spindle coolant. These machines are ideal for companies in the heat transfer and structural steel industries as they provide fast, accurate results, allowing for better production times and more profits.
