Microtek Grinding Machines offers CNC Cylindrical Grinding Machine, Microgrind 400. The machine bed is of high rigidity and stability through box structure of adequately ribbed design. The table moves on Turcite coated, auto lubricated, hand scraped "v" and flat guide-ways which gives absolutely stick slip free movement. Table movement is by AC servomotor with a pre-loaded ball screw. The table movement can also be provided with high precision glass scales (optional) The spindle runs on high precision multi-point hydrodynamic bearing which gives very high rigidity and excellent surface finish. The spindle is made of cartridge type for easy maintenance. Spindle drive is by AC motor with step-less variable speed from 90 to 900 RPM. The wheel head spindle is made of nitride steel, especially heat treated to achieve higher accuracies and stability. It runs on high precision multi-point hydrodynamic bearing which gives very high rigidity and excellent surface finish. In-feed slide runs on rigid pre-loaded high precision anti-friction linear guide-ways. The in-feed axis can also be provided with high precision glass scales (optional). Clearance can be adjusted within one micron anytime. Special roller and thrust bearings take heavy grinding loads. Wheel dressing is formed by blade type or single diamond through CNC interpolation.
