PSG Industrial Institute, a Coimbatore-based company, offers a five axis CNC tool and cutter grinder, basically developed to cater the need of tool regrinding field and production. The machine is robust and occupies comparatively higher floor area, due to its basic concept of avoiding all machine components from exposing to grinding waste. This eliminate the major maintenance and life problem faced by tool grinding machines. Five axis simultaneous control is possible. PC based, user friendly, CNC program generation software, removes all difficulties in program preparation and entering. This decreases the machine up time, reduces the manual error and make the machine operation so simple as just component loading and unloading. Moving tail stock and steady rest is provided as standard accessories, to give required support to typical components, during grinding. Latest all digital control system and drives with built in hard disc with Pentium processor and Windows operating system is offered, along with machine. It is possible to connect the machine with some other machine through DNC.
