Shenoy Engineering offers high speed Milling, Drlling SPMs, built using carcasses of old planers. These special purpose machines are workhorses for milling and drilling operations. The self-fed ram type milling, drilling head, which is an in-house innovation, is a highly accurate and extremely rigid construction. Its box type construction, with sliding clearance fine-tuned to the minimum, helps accurate feeding accuracy in drilling, boring, etc. The servo driven 3 axes feed system, with its encoder based feedback system, is capable rapid inching and accurate positioning. HMI interface helps program selection and editing. The spindle drive has provision for stepless variable speed rates, suitable for all types of milling, drilling operation, using all types of cutters. The arbor clamping and declamping is automatic through EMA – a low cost alternative to ATC. On the available T slots of the table, automatic fixture for clamping the work-piece is mounted. The fixture is designed to suit to the job. These low cost machines are more suitable for large jobs. They have multi-purpose machining capabilities and in-built capabilities for quick adaptation for small batch production. With similar configuration, the company offers to build column travelling type milling, drilling SPMs. These full pledged CNC SPMs are offered with combination of turcite and case hardened guide way strips for the sliding surfaces, LM guideways and ball screws for axes feed, through coolant facility, etc.
