Milling Cutters

Seco Tools India offers Milling Cutters. The ranges of plunge milling cutters are available with super turbo inserts type XO. The cutters have a diameter of 1.00-2.50" with a cylindrical/weld-on shank and combi master heads, the larger diameters for arbour mounting. The maximum depth of cut is 0.275" and the design allows a depth of 0.04" in the up-copying direction. The plunging method is ideal in operations with large overhang as the feed rates can be higher compared to side/slot milling without losing stability. The cutting forces are directed towards the spindle.
