Shears are fabricated from IS-226 rollers steel plate. Table and cutting beam are deeply reinforced and finish machined after stress relieved. The in forked design puts direct support to the frame. Thus frame remains strain free and eliminates welds at load support, thereby maintaining the accuracy undisturbed.
- Shears are provided with high quality four edge split and single segment knives.
- Back gauge provided with an arrangement to set its concavity. It is driven by hand with sprocket and chain arrangement fitted on a screw.
- The hold down system is actuated by cam on the crankshaft through levers. This arrangement avoids slipping and blowing resulting in clean square cut.
