Cosmos Grinding Technologies represents the world class Wirecut EDM from Joemars. The Joemars AWT12755 employs precise ball screws and is directly driven by AC servomotors and linear motion guide ways on each axis in order to produce smooth motions and exceptional accuracy. The U and V axes are located above the column with travels by 1200 x 700 x 450 mm. This design offers great stability and a large work tank for big job requests, and achieves accurate taper machining under the conditions of high wire tension and high water pressure. The non-water-splash feature facilitates complex machining and offers stable cutting operations. The temperature of the tank water and work piece is well controlled to be consistent; thereby no thermal deformations will occur. A stainless lower guide arm is employed to isolate high temperature water flow by air blast; therefore, heat transmission can be effectively eliminated. The AWT12755 is equipped with a powerful 64-MB CPU control and Windows control system, which provides superior efficiency and accuracy. The circular board is of a modular design. Each module interface features self-diagnostic functions and error indications, offering great operational convenience of troubleshooting and maintenance.
