Plasma Nitriding Equipment

Grow Controls offers Plasma Nitriding Equipment, GC PNRT. This is an ion nitriding process. Ion nitriding is a process, where work piece is kept in a vacuum chamber. Work piece is the cathode and vacuum chamber wall is the anode. Initially the vacuum chamber is evacuated to a high level vacuum. Then the inert gas is introduced. Plasma power is applied, to initiate plasma discharge. Auxiliary conversion/induction heating is used for achieving nitriding temperature. A mixture of inert and nitrogen gas is introduced. Process parameter is maintained for the required time to complete nitriding process.
