Hydrogenators

Multifab Engineers offers Hydrogenator. This gives many advantages, viz: shorter batch cycles leading to higher production capacity from the same reactor; large gas-liquid contact area exceeding 200 m² per thousand litres of reactor volume; enhanced heat transfer, heat transfer coefficients of 300 kcal/hr/m²/°C or more have been achieved; and better utilisation of catalyst. This is working successfully for various applications like hydrogenation, amination, etc. Existing reactor can be retrofitted, provided the reactor satisfies all the working conditions. To preempt incidence of leakage (if at all) of the coil, the company has introduced properly and economically designed external heat exchanger, in place of the internal coil/coils. In some cases, the reactions are exothermic generating heat, which is to be removed by cooling through jacket, and in some cases additional cooling coils (sometimes two or three concentric coils) are to be provided.
