Wittmann Automation India offers a gravimetric dosing system (blenders), Model Gravimax. These are ultimate in precision blending: all materials metered by weight; accuracy is constantly monitored; automatic compensation for material variations; advanced dispense technology; colour and additive is held within 0.1% of requested ratio; and very simple operation. The user-friendly multi-task control is menu driven providing: per cent preset – ingredient values entered in %; display operating conditions; materials identification data base; recipe storage; preset batch count; reports; maximum mixer discharge – full size slide gate on larger models eliminates dead zones, providing efficient discharge of each completed mixed batch in the mix chamber; immune to vibration – load cell readings that have been compromised by machine shock or vibration are detected and disregarded; blenders may be mounted directly on the process machine; fast clean-out feature reduces downtime; removable and hinged safety doors with quick release latches; easy removable scale hopper for access to mixing chamber; removable mixer agitator and stainless steel liner for efficient cleaning; unique metering pinch valves; and fast, efficient, reliable and effective, the pinch valve together with the exclusive software meters materials precisely from batch to batch.
