Whenever seawater or freshwater is utilised in an engineering process such as power stations, desalination industries, petrochemical works or refineries – biological fouling is an ever present cause for treatment. Bio-fouling restricts the water flow and reduces heat transfer across heat exchangers and condensers, thereby reducing the efficiency of the process. Electro chlorinator/electrolysers will keep the seawater intakes free from bio fouling, maintain the efficiency of heat exchangers and reduce the system maintenance costs with extended equipment life. The company designs, manufactures and supplies/replacing the electrolysers, which are suitable for electro chlorinators, originally manufactured by global multinational companies. It manufactures electrolysers, having production capacity of single electrolyser, maximum 125 kg/hr. Higher capacity of the CI2 production will be made with multi-fold cell assembly [more than 1250 kg/hr] for industrial/commercial application. These electrolysers are manufactured by using CTE, PPE or PPME technologies. The electrodes are manufactured form titanium sheet, mesh, plate, rod, wire, tube, pipe and the combination of all the above, conforming to ASTM B 265, 348 and 337 or 338 grade 1 and 2. Electrodes are to be coated with platinum group of precious metal mixed oxide and or platinum in the thickness of minimum 6 to 10 micron. Bi-polar, mono-polar and reverse polarisation cell design is also done. The cell voltage is designed for 3.5 to 4.5. Life guarantee for DSA (precious metal oxide mix) coating is 5 years depends on the current density and substrate.
