Chlorinator Electrodes

  • The catalyst react with the sodium chloride and water molecules at the anode and cathode surfaces to generate the chlorine disinfectant in the form of hypochlorous acid and sodium hypochlorite in the pool water
  • When the chlorine kills the pathogens and oxidises organics or contaminants, chlorine remains returns to the native state as salt (NaCl) in water as a recycling process.
  • Typical 3-5 year chlorinator life leads lesser amount of pool store since the disinfectant is made on-site; electrodes are made from Titanium Grade 1 sheet and mesh as per ASTM B 265, coated with platinum group precious metal oxide.
