Water Softening Filter

Fortech Corporation of India offers a Water Purification Water Softening Filter, KA-1655, from AWP Nordic Products AB, a Swedish company. Softening filter KA-1655 can purify water of calcium, magnesium and smaller amounts of iron and manganese. During flushing, the collected calcium, iron and manganese are washed into the sewer manhole. Followed by regeneration (charge) ion mass with a brine (NaCl) solution and is now ready for softening of water. One can calculate how many cubic metres of water can clean the filter to regeneration by dividing the performance by the index over the hardness of the water. Example: if the water has a hardness of 27 dH it can soften 14.8 m3 (400/27) to regenerate.
