Swati Pulley Co. Pvt. Ltd, a manufacturer based in Kolhapur, offers variable speed motor suitable for applications in bottling, packaging, printing machines, conveyors, extruders, sawing, blow rooms, ring frames, and band saws. This motor consists of fixed centre variable speed pulleys and a variable speed belt, housed in sturdy aluminium or cast iron disks or aluminium disks with diaphragm springs or rectangular section coil springs. The speed can be varied by mechanically adjusting the pulley disks. The variable speed pulleys are precisely machined, assembled under dust proof conditions, dynamically balanced to ? 1.5gms accuracy and coated to give smooth running and long life. The hard coat on pulley disks makes possible the change in speed even when the unit is in motion. Speed variations of up to 1:7 can be achieved. Required speed range can be achieved by selection of gearbox ratio accordingly. These variator units can be universally mounted in ?C? and ?Z? styles and are available in foot, flange or shaft mountings with or without gearboxes.
