In less than twenty years Gyrox Gears Industries has successfully established itself as a reliable supplier of dependable drives for mechanical transmission of power. The company is run by technocrats of a family headed by an engineer who has put more than fifty years and is dedicated to the profession of engineering. At present the range of drives manufactured are in following types: planetary, helical, worm, bevel, epicyclic and their combinations and derivatives. In planetary type drum-motors, motor is inside drum shell and motor starter is stationary permitting direct connection of power cable to motor terminals, eliminating need of slip-rings. Available range: power transmitted – 0.25 HP to 100 HP, drum dia – 110 mmØ to 800 mmØ; drum length – 400 mm to 1400 mm; peripheral speed – 4.0 mtr/minute to 325 mtrs/minute; and lubricating media – oil with self pumping action of gears inside.
