Permanent Magnet DC Motors

Permanent Magnet DC Motors use permanent (magnetic) field excitation. PMDC motor is a constant Torque motor it gives constant torque staring from standstill to rated speed. It is used for variable speed requirements in industrial applications. Due to easy availability of cost effective good quality powerful magnets these motors are replacing conventional separately wound motors. These motors offer a very cost effective solution for low power variable speed applications. Torque of the motor is 1 KGCM up to 60 KGCM, Speed is from 1000 to 5000 rpm, Input Power of the motor is upto 1000W, Voltages is 12V to 220 V DC. Standard Options for the motors are Stromtium Ferrite magnets used, Totally Enclosed type construction, Prelubricated sealed imported bearings on both the ends of shaft, Dynamically balanced Rotors, Compact and light weight, Steel body protected against corrosion, F- Class insulation standard, Connection through flying Leads/Terminal Box.
