Permanent Magnet DC Motors, Battery Operated

Rotomag Motors & Controls offers battery operated Permanent Magnet DC motors specially designed for electric vehicles and other battery operated/traction applications. These motors are available in ratings from 0.75 HP to 3 HP, 12/24/36/48 V and speeds 1500-3000 RPM with foot/flange mounting as per IEC and NEMA frame sizes. These PMDC motors with TENV construction are suited for intermittent use where high torque is desired in compact size. The motors with fan cooling (SPDP/TEFC) are suited for continuous duty. Insulation Class F allows operation till ambient temperature up to 45°C. All motors are tested as per IS: 4722-1968 and IS: 9320-1979. Rotomag battery operated PMDC motors are compact, low noise and suitable for precise control. Efficiency, higher starting torque and superior aesthetics are other salient features. High coercively patented magnets are used to prevent demagnetisation even in extreme conditions involving frequent start-stops. Brushes are externally replaceable. These motors are ideal for electric vehicles, golf carts, floor cleaning equipment, unmanned lawn mowing machines, toy trains, etc.
