Rotomag Motors & Controls offers industrial grade, SCR duty Permanent Magnet D. C. motors specially designed for Industrial Applications requiring continuous operation and operation through SCR or PWM drives. These motors are available in ratings from 0.25 HP to 3 HP, 90 or 180 V and speeds 1500-3000 RPM with foot/face/flange mounting as per IEC and NEMA frame sizes. These PMDC motors have TEFC construction with IP- 44/IP-55 protection for use in humid environment and ambient temperature up to 45°C. All motors are tested as per IS: 4722-1968 and IS: 9320-1979. Rotomag PMDC motors are compact, efficient and have higher starting torque with superior aesthetics. High coercively patented magnets are used to prevent demagnetisation even in extreme conditions involving frequent start-stops. Brushes are externally replaceable with a vent provided for cleaning the commutator to improve the maintenance effectiveness. These motors are ideal for variable speed applications in printing, textile, plastic, welding, packaging and pharmaceuticals machinery.
