Motor Protector, Microprocessor Based

M R K Engineers has introduced a microprocessor based Motor Protector. This is suitable for all HP motors either single phase or three phase available up to 2000 A. Using this device will avoid burning of the motor against single phasing, reverse phasing, overload, over voltage, under voltage, etc. All parameters can be programmed at site as per the customers’ requirement. The instrument has all annunciation facilities on display. It has in-built auto switch as well as digital voltmeter, ammeter with auto scrolling facility. If any fault occurs and power fails, faulty conditions are stored in memory after power restore motor does not re-start unless fault is reset. One can also set extra wide range for set current and set voltages. It also has highly accurate tripping curve (±0.05 sec) for full range of setting of 1% for display. All this can be programmed with feather touch key board. Serial communication port RS 485 can be provided as per customers’ requirements. The device is available in 92 x 92 cut-out size in ABS plastic enclosure. The unit incorporates a 7-segment, red, 4-digit display having 4 keys for programming.
