Elgi Electric and Industries Ltd manufactures a new range of DC motors that ensure higher efficiency consuming low field power. The motors have higher commutation capability and perform better producing low noise and vibrations. These DC motors give higher output for the given shaft height and conform to IEC 34-1/BS 5000/IS 4722 standards. The high torque to inertia ratio offers better dynamic response. The optional accessories include air inlet filters, bearing temperature detectors, anti-condensation heaters, electromagnetic brake and tachogenerator mounting. Applications: printing and textile machineries, plastic extruders/process lines, pump and fan drives, paper industry, sugar industry, rubber industry, steel mill auxiliary drives, cement mills and conveyors.
