Disc-Magnet Motors

Escap disc-magnet stepper motors are available for a wide range of performances. The very low inertia of the rotor, combined with the high energy density of the rare earth magnet, allows the Escap disc-magnet motors to attain very high accelerations and power rates. These characteristics, coupled with a high peak speed, ensure that incremental movement can be achieved in the shortest time. In addition, the disc-magnet motors are available in a power range from 5 to 250 W with holding torques of 12 mNm to 1.6 Nm offering very high efficiency, power/volume and power/weight ratios. Portescap can also offer the Escap range of electronic circuits adapted to the high performance levels of the disc-magnet motors for full-step, half-step and microstep operation.
