Brake motors

Hindustan Motors Manufacturing Company manufactures a range of electric motors. Brake motors utilise modular construction. While the basic electric motor is manufactured in-house, the electro magnetic brake is procured from reputed manufacturer. The selection of brake is done in consultation with brake man ufacturer. These motors are also supplied against specific re quests. Alternatively, any motor to suit mounting of any brake is also made. In such cases, the customer should furnish the following details: application details; output and speed; duty cycle with number of starts/stops per hour; method of mounting; braking torque required; maximum permissible stopping time; ambient temperature, supply voltage, fre quency and environmental factors likely to effect the motor if any; and any other special features required.
