Hindustan Motor Mfg Co is a leading electric motor manufacturer in India producing more than 250,000 3-phase motors at 4 different manufacturing locations. Hindustan Gen-Next Series energy efficient motor produces the same shaft output power but draws less input power than a standard motor. Hence it consumes less electricity than comparable standard motor. Special features: saves energy and money; near uniform efficiency from 50% to 100% of full load ensuring energy savings even at part load conditions also; short payback period; VPI offers protection against corrosive gases, vapors, increased humidity and reduced stresses due to vibration; and higher overload capacity suitable for higher service factor. Range: Hindustan energy efficient motors are designed as per the values specified in IS: 12615. They have near uniform efficiencies between 50 and 100% of load as shown in the figure. The motors are available from 2.2 kW to 315.0 kW in 2-, 4-, 6- and 8-pole varieties. EFF1 motors conform to IS: 12615-2004, service factor 1.15, vacuum pressure impregnated, CE marking, maintenance free for life up to frame 180, inverter duty ready, larger bearing on driving end, and atmosphere resistant.
