Mechanical Variable Speed Drives

Trans Coils Pvt Ltd (TCPL) has introduced a Mechanical Variable Speed Drive (VSD), Models E1 and E2, designed for use on a wide variety of machinery. The drive may be used where continuously variable speed, with positive drive is required. Model E1 has CCW output, where as Model E2 has CW output, irrespective of input direction not changing. The output is continuously variable from 0-400 RPM with input of 1800 RPM. The drive gives constant output torque of 12 lb.in at any speed. Such drives are widely used in textile industries for maintaining web tension. The speed can be varied infinitely from 0-400 RPM with change of handle (knob) position. The company also offers a wide range of torque limiters, linear actuators and couplings.
