DC Four Quadrant Drive

Abhar Engineering offers the versatile Penta Power range of AC and DC drives from KB Electronics Inc, USA. Among them is the KBRG a full wave regenerative control, capable of operating a DC motor (permanent magnet or shunt) in a bi directional mode. It provides 4 quadrant operation, which allows forward and reverses torque in both speed directions. The KBRG contains many standard features, such as: armature and tach feedback, built-in horsepower selection, trimpots for Fwd CL, Rev CL, IR Comp, Response, Max Spd, Off set, Deadband, Fwd Accel, Rev Accel and Timed Current Limit. LED indicators are provided for power on, current limit, Fwd enable and Rev enable. A 5K speed pot is included. Dimensions of the KBRG: 7.7" x 10.0" x 2.5" (Model KBRG 225D). An optional bi-polar signal isolator, Model SI-4 is available. UL Rec CSA patented.
