Bipolar Micro Stepping Stepper Drive

MicroLOGIX Embedded Controls has introduced MSB – 808, a versatile micro stepping stepper motor drive for variety of OEM applications. This drive is suitable for 4, 6 and 8 wire stepper motor. This 80 V 8 A drive can be used with stepper motors up to 300 kg.cm torque. This high frequency Mosfet chopper drive has operating voltage range from 32 V DC up to 80 V DC with selectable motor current from 0.5 A to 8 A. The drive is also featured with two modes of control to choose from, pulse and direction or internal oscillator. Additional enable input also used during internal oscillator mode for motor control. Microstepping up to 64 microsteps and automatic current reduction (standby) are the additional features of this drive. Desired operating mode, current selection, microstep selection can be chosen by using on-board DIP switches. This drive is used in textile machines, banking machines, printing machines, medical and laboratory equipments, machines for farm and food industries and SPMs as a major component with them.
