Vibratory Bowl Feeder

Jaycee Industries has designed and developed a vibratory bowl feeder suitable for automatic feeding of components to machines and power presses for subsequent operation. The components are dumped in bulk into the bowl. Under the action of vibration, the components are dispersed over the convex bottom of bowl towards the wall where they enter into the input end of the track along which they travel upwards. The orienting device allows only the properly oriented blanks to reach the delivery end of the elevated track; all others are dislodged and dropped back into the bottom of the bowl. The oriented blocks form a queue at the delivery end of the bowl. Features of this machine are solid state control to vary the feed rate infinitely, ie, from 0 to 120 pieces per minute depending upon the size, shape, weight and capacity required. Toolings such as escapements, pressure breakers, orienters, etc, are provided in the bowl. Bowls are made up of aluminium casting or can be fabricated of mild steel or of stainless steel. Vibratory bowl feeders are useful to feed components such as bottle caps, electronic components, screws, bolts, drills, pressed blanks, etc, to machines. Adjustable height stands are also developed for mounting the vibratory bowl feeders.
