Pentek Textile Machinery Srl, Italy, which is represented in India by the Delhi-based Dipti International offers this EnAIRgy, which is a specialty-finishing machine for value added goods. It’s the ideal tool for those who mean to improve the product market positioning conferring softness, bulkiness and volume, drapery, shrinkage and changes of look such as aged look, crinkling, millwash, lam-skin look, spongy look, three-dimensional effects, etc. The range of finishing effects provided by EnAIRgy is comparable to the general range of effects products by rotary drum tumblers, though in a continuous and open width process. It is definitely a creative tool, which enables the sensitive operator to mix up parameters of us, temperature, humidity, mechanical and chemical action in an almost unlimited range of results, depending from fabric composition and structure.

  • The applications range is quite big and varies from apparel goods (menswear and womenwear), upholstery (printed, jacquards, chenille’s, and fake leather, flame retardant, automotive goods), home textiles (terry towels, linen, etc…) till technical fabrics and nonwovens.
  • Due to its nature, by adjusting parameters like temperature and mechanicals action, EnAIRgy gives its best on natural fibres (silk, wool, cotton, linen and blend) artifices (viscose, rayon, lyocell, polonaises, acrylics,) and on synthetic blends (with polyester, elastane, nylon etc…)
  • Ideal for all woven good, it can be used also for various applications in knits for visual effects, hand and fabrics stability

  • Fabric Path:The secret of EnAIRgy is the combination of an alternated discontinuous motion within a continuous process.
  • Entry:Inlet frame with idle roller and tensioning rods at adjustable position.
  • Storage Cells:Steel painted structure with insulating material is to prevent heat dispersion. The 12 cm thickness insulated doors with inspection windows have tempered glass. Accumulation J-Box is composed of stainless steel structure and Teflon sliding to ensure thermal insulation of the fabrics and proper sliding in the scray. Load cells are determining the fabrics weight in the J-Scray. Smashing grid is entirely manufactured in stainless in stainless steel.
  • Shooting TunnelShooting tunnel inlet in calendared and polished stainless steel is to avoid improper frictions.
  • ExitStainless steel duct protects the way out of the goods from air turbulences. Motorised roller kit in stainless with various profile (according to the fabrics type) is manually adjustable on a 360 angle.
  • Drying and TumblingAir heating is through digital gas burner. Maximum air temperature of 170°C (limited by software) is possible. High-pressure air blowers with powerful motors are inverter controlled and adjustable from control Panel. The set pressure determines the speed of the fabric inside the machines.
  • Floating Time:Enables the operator to determine the balance between drying and tumbling actions keeping the fabric floating inside the tunnel a preset number of second between a crash and the next. This function proportionally decreases the number of smashes without affecting the volume of air and its evaporation capacity. Exhaust fan for humid air extraction is motor controlled by inverter.
  • Filtering SystemsFilter& compactor placed on the air extraction circuit, right before the exhaust fan. The filter is composed of a wide diameter rotary mesh filter and with a silicon scraper, which removes the lint and drives them through a never-ending screw, to an external bag for compacted lint collection and easy removal.
  • Process ControlsA PLC and SIEMENS touch screen controls panel enables the machine operation in both manual and automatic modes. The operator can edit, store, retrieve and modify an almost unlimited number of batches with all operating parameters of the equipment.
  • Antistatic Bar:At the exit of the flat folding devices and electrical devices discharge the electrical statics accumulated by the fabric during the tumbling process.
  • Kit for monitoring consumption:The machines can be equipped with a quantum meter for the digital measurement of gas consumption. An additional PLC module reads real time values of electricity consumption, those data are linked with a meter counter at machine inlet and, protected by password, can visualise the real time cost per metre of fabrics.
