Small Hole Drilling EDMs

Essenes offers Small Hole Drilling EDMs from Baoma. It is manufactured as per the international standards. It is suitable to drill holes in various conductive and semi-conductive materials like stainless steel, chilled steel, solid carbide, copper, aluminium, etc. The hole size is consistent throughout the length in the special semi-immersed drilling method. Holes from diameter 0.3 mm to 3 mm with maximum depth to diameter ratio of 300:1 can be drilled. The speed of drilling holes is 30 mm ~ 60 mm/min. The machine comes with a table size of 436 mm x 316 mm and has a travel of 400 mm x 300 mm (X/Y axis). The working solution used is water. It is suitable for drilling wire-cut start holes, filter holes, jet holes, group holes and holes of super depth etc. The drilling can be done on oblique and curved surfaces directly. The machine can be used to erode the drill / tap, etc which are broken in the work piece without destroying the screw thread of the holes.
