Essenes offers a modular type 4-axis CNC lathe for line automation applications, Model FT200-2 SP, from Hyundai Machine Tools. This twin spindle machine offers a flexible structure by allowing the movement of both spindle and turret. The machine is available with a built-in type gantry loader as an option for unmanned operation. It has a maximum turning diameter of 250 mm, max turning length of 150 mm and a bar capacity of 51 mm. The 10-position turret has an indexing time of 0.3 s (1 step) and 0.8 s (full). The spindle speed range available is 45-4,500 rpm and the power is 15/11.7 kW (30 min/cont). The axes have a rapid traverse of 24 m/min. The unit comes with a standard warranty of 1 year for the machine and 2 years for the Siemens 840D controller.
