Precision Drilling & Tapping-Cum-Drilling Machines

These are designed and built by Thakoor Technologies who has expertise of more than three decades in machine tools. The machines are constructed of high grade alloy steel, carburised, case hardened and precision ground to close tolerances for precision components, viz., main spindles, shafts, gears, etc. Close-grained cast iron duly stress relieved with appropriate wall sections is used for headstocks, worktables and bases. Columns are made out of seamless steel tube ground and hard chrome surfaced. A wide range of spindle speeds and feeds are provided to facilitate drilling, tapping and boring requirements on varied materials. Main spindles and pulleys are dynamically balanced and mounted on anti-friction bearings to ensure sustained accuracy. An electrical reversing mechanism is provided for both hand and automatic spindle reversal for tapping applications.
