Horizontal Boring Machine, ‘Karam’

Guru Nanak Engineering Works (Regd), an ISO-9001-2008 certified company, offers ‘Karam’ brand high precision horizontal boring, milling, drilling and facing machines. These machines are widely used for machining bores in various types of gearboxes, machine bodies, for surface milling and also for large dia flange facing, etc. With alloy steel – duly hard work spindle sizes of 65 mm, 80 mm, 100 mm, 110 mm, 125 mm and 150 mm, these machines are recommended for all classes of work. The design of machine is guarantee of stiffness, accuracy and large output. All the raw materials used in the manufacturing processes are always the best available in the market, which make the machines highly durable. The geometrical accuracy of the machine conforms to Dr Schlesinger’s Acceptance Test Chart. All traverses of X, Y and Z axis of the machine as well as circular movement of the work table are provided with automatic feeds and rapid travels. The machine can be supplied with or without 2 axis/3 axis DRO system – 5 micron resolutions, magnetic scale with DRO for the precise indexing of rotary work table, flame hardened machine bed, 2.5mm thick Turcite-B linings and extended traverses. Besides manufacturing conventional table type horizontal boring machines, the firm has also developed CNC version of horizontal boring machines, floor type horizontal boring machines and vertical turret lathes. Special attachments like threading, milling and taper boring attachments permit to perform multi-operations on a single machine.
