Powermatic Engineers offers high speed drilling machines. Model PT H-6 is a machine having precision bearings fitted in machine for accurate drilling of small holes. This is most suitable for very small drilling applications in transistor radio sets, telephone instruments, switchgear, scientific instruments, and PCBs, etc, for the electronics industry. Drilling capacity is 6 mm in stainless steel and 7 mm in cast iron and alloy metals. Other specifications: distance between spindle centre to column face - 155 mm; max distance between drill chuck face to table face - 225 mm; minimum distance between drill chuck face to table face - 125 mm; max distance between drill chuck face to base plate - 430 mm; quill movement - 57 mm; number of spindle speeds - 2; range of spindle speeds 5,000-10,000 RPM; and, electric motor - 0.5 HP, 2,800 RPM.
