Drill Cum Hss Tool Bit Grinder

Manu Engineering Works has launched a new Drill Cum HSS Tool Bit Grinder with capacity of the Drill from 3 mm to 19 mm (1/8” to 3/4”) and HSS tool bits from 5 mm to 10 mm (3/16”to 3/8”). Special features include: simple operation yet precise and fast – can be easily used by anybody in a workshop; drill point can be renewed/sharpened in 30 seconds; portable and light weight, can be moved easily on the shopfloor, taken to the job where drilling is required, saving on the number of fixed drills; short payback period of a few weeks or months depending on the consumption of drills in the workshop; increased productivity as sharpened drills penetrate faster with less efforts, also the holes are perfectly round, straight and well within tolerances; and all important cutting angles are provided in the machine to suit various materials – soft, hard, thin, wood, rubber, fibre plastic or any other type. The grinding operation is very simple: one has to place drill through the machine, adjust to the required angle, adjust rear bracket, in position to overhung the drill approx 1/16” to the lip rest, tighten the clamp and secure the lip rest. The drill is now ready for grinding. Adjust the bottom slide forward gradually by feed screw until the drill point touches the side face of emery wheel; during grinding use a light touch to swing attachment back and forth, advance drill gradually through use of micro feed screw until the entire surface is ground. Grind second lip in the same manner without changing any other adjustments; do not grind in one sweep, use a series of slow and short sweeps until drill passes through to prevent the drill to burn.
